Girls Inc. of Alameda County’s Great Bake-Off!

We celebrated Valentine’s Day all week with the Great Girls Inc. Bakeoff! Our middle and high school girls were challenged to create unique sweet treats without recipes in only 30 minutes, employing skills like effective communication, delegation, and teamwork to accomplish a shared goal.

Girls Inc. staff and volunteers judged the baked goods based using three criteria: creativity, presentation, and taste. Most importantly, however, was to have fun, make memories, and build connections.
