Girls Inc. of Alameda County Hosts First-of-its-Kind Biannual Women of Impact Breakfast

We had an incredible turnout at our first-ever biannual Women of Impact Breakfast!

The breakfast kicked off our 65th Anniversary, our Simpson Center for Girls’ 10-year Anniversary, and our reimagined Women of Impact Program, which also turned 10 this year. The exciting event included a review of upcoming engagement opportunities and exciting events, and we heard firsthand from Board Members, alumnae and volunteers how rewarding it can be to support girls in our community.
Women of Impact are dedicated to advancing opportunities for girls through their support, engagement, and their active participation as mentors, role models, tutors, scholarship judges and more!

In the new program, there are tiered levels of financial investment that correspond with varying levels of involvement in engagement opportunities, event attendance and WOI swag, check it out!

If you’re interested in joining the new WOI program, you can learn more, here, or contact Selena Solorio, Community Engagement and Corporate Relations Manager, ssolorio@girlsinc.alameda.org.
