Overnight College Tours

Our rising high school seniors went on a weekend trip to visit UC Santa Cruz, Cal State Monterey Bay, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo! Due to time and financial constraints, campus visits are not always possible for our youth and their families, but they can greatly influence a student’s decision of where to attend.

Girls in our College Access Now (CAN) program, taking advantage of the Senior Summer curriculum attended these tours and gained valuable insight into campus life and the “college experience.” During the summer, they also have the opportunity to earn college credits through coursework at Berkeley City College and receive essay mentoring assistance on common college application prompts.
