2023 Strong, Smart & Bold Luncheon: Imagine

Thank you to our Board Members, Sponsors, Investors, Women of Impact, and our entire community who helped us raise funds to inspire girls at our 2023 Strong, Smart & Bold Luncheon!

With your sponsorships, ticket purchases and day-of investments, we surpassed our fundraising goal, raising a grand total of:

$411,855Guests perused our gallery walk, featuring iconic articles and images dating back to the 1960s, before settling in for lunch.

Our emcees, Kumasi Aaron and Jobina Fortson from ABC7News, did an incredible job conveying our mission, introducing our Teen Honorees and keeping the energy high for our Fund-a-Future!

Teen scholar Audrey revealed she would be attending UCLA in the fall studying economics and business, and Teen scholar Sheily shared she would be heading cross-country to Boston University to study computer science, and Viviana will be attending San Jose State!

The experiences of our teen honorees are a testament to the success of Girls Inc. of Alameda County’s programming and services in empowering youth to feel safe, seen and valued.

As a community, we can make a huge impact on the futures of girls and continue building on our 65 years of impact. Thank you for investing in the programs, resources and services that can help our youth flourish.
