Congratulations Girls Inc. Class of 2018!
Over their years at Girls Inc. of Alameda County, our seniors have grown in confidence and sisterhood, nurtured dreams for the future, and made an impact on the world around them. One senior, Destinee, describes how Girls Inc. supported her through a tumultuous time in her life to recognize the power of her voice and blossom into the leader she is today. As she puts it, “I know that I won’t let my dreams pass me by.”
Now, 100% of our senior girls are graduating from high school and going on to college!
At the Girls Inc. College Shower, our families and community members not only celebrated our girls, but provided them with essential academic and dorm supplies— from XL twin sheet sets, to MacBook Pro laptops! As a community, we are sending these remarkable and inspiring young women forward into the future with the tools and support they need to achieve their dreams.
