We invite you to join us on Thursday, April 19th for the 2012 Strong, Smart, and Bold Fundraiser Luncheon, as we salute the arts as only a strong, smart, and bold community can... Community leader, Lois De Domenico and Girls Inc of Alameda County will celebrate honorees that are not just changing the way we see the issues of today through their bold artistic works; they’re changing the world, working everyday to empower women and girls worldwide to be strong, smart, and bold.

Special Guest Emcee: KRON 4 News Anchor, Pam Moore. 2012 Honorees: Filmmaker, Jennifer Siebel Newsom; Visual Artist, Hung Liu; and Author, Lalita Tademy.

Girls Inc. hosts an incredible roster of events throughout the year, serving families, community partners, girls and more! Our two signature fundraising events: Women of Taste and Strong, Smart & Bold help us raise critical awareness and funding for our organization, thus allowing us to offer low to no cost award-winning programs and services to over 7,200 girls.
