2017-2018 Annual Report

The results are in…working together we transform lives.

Here’s how.

This year, Girls Inc. of Alameda County celebrated 60 years of inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold. As the year winds to a close, we at Girls Inc. are grateful for all our girls, our community, our investors, volunteers, board members, and staff.

2018 has been a tremendous year. Because of Girls Inc.:

  • 100% of girls in our college readiness program go on to college.
  • Girls Inc. girls are twice as likely to read at grade level as their peers.
  • 85% of middle school girls increased their interest in STEM, preparing themselves to be part of the workforce of the future.
  • 92% of alumnae age 26 and older have a post-secondary certificate or degree.

But we cannot deliver our life-changing programs without you!

Read our Annual Report and learn how we served over 10,000 girls, families and community members.

Consider an investment today to inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We do critical work in our community and we can’t do it without you. Gifts in any amount are needed and deeply appreciated.
