As a first generation college graduate and daughter of immigrant parents, Hada earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara. She uses her degree to understand the developmental aspects of youth work. Serving as a youth worker since 2010, Hada has leveraged her skills and education to build community relationships, understand and support youth behaviors, and facilitate the development of her team. Hada has worked for Girls Inc. since 2011 and has had the opportunity to move up within the organization, starting as a direct service facilitator, becoming a site supervisor and serving as a Program Manager. In 2015, Hada became a certified trainer with California School Aged Consortium and has lead various trainings in California. In 2016, Hada was selected to take part in the Leadership Development Institute as a fellow. In 2018, Hada was selected to become a National Afterschool Association’s Next Generation Afterschool Leader. Hada continues to expand her possibilities to develop herself and the community with whom she works.
