Please also join us in congratulating Chelsea, who received the $5K Lucile Miller Wright Scholarship earlier this year, Ana and Mia, who were each awarded the $5K Kristi Yamaguchi Scholarship, and Emiaya, Gabriela, Tonia and Viviana, who were each awarded a $5K scholarship through the Sharon Simpson Scholarship Foundation.

All scholarship applicants participated in a rigorous, three-month application process, working with Girls Inc. staff, volunteers and mentors from the community, to develop, edit and refine their essays. Thank you to all who supported them during this process, helping them discover their own voice and encouraging them to dream big for college and career!
