Girls Incorporated of Alameda County (“Girls, Inc.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy, believes in protecting your personal information, and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”). California “Shine the Light” Law
Separate from CCPA, California residents may, pursuant to California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the California “Shine the Light” law), request certain information regarding our disclosure (if any) of Personal Information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us, identify yourself as a California resident and provide sufficient information so we can take appropriate action, such as your name, email address or any additional information required.

DATA PROCESSING AND SECURITY
We have implemented measures designed to secure your Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All Information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.
This website takes every precaution to protect our donors’ information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our donation or purchase form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry — SSL.

The credit card company does not retain, share, store or use personal information for any secondary purposes. We do not share donor information with other organizations. Certain online credit card purchases and donations are processed through Network for Good, a third party service provider. These transactions are subject to the Network for Good Privacy, Security & Disclosure Statement. We do not sell or share any of your credit card, payment related, or other personal information. All of our supporters’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We may modify the terms of this Policy and we encourage you to review this Policy regularly. We will inform you about any amendments to our Policy via email or other commercially reasonable means within 15 days of making any such a modification. Continued use of our website shall constitute acceptance of any such amendments. We will also post the amended version on this page and indicate at the top of the page when this Policy was last updated.
