Shannon Cassidy
Director of Individual Giving and Donor Relations
Shannon Cassidy brings over a decade of development experience and a passion for supporting the power, health, and freedom of women and girls to Girls Inc. of Alameda County. Shannon’s career in fundraising started on the congressional campaign for former Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick in Flagstaff, Arizona and has grown from there. She has worked in every part of a development operation and has a well-rounded, human first, data centered view of what it takes to be a part of a successful team. Her past experience includes positions in event and major gift management at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, and grassroots digital program directing at Emerge America.
Shannon has a B.A. in Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies from Northern Arizona University and serves on the board of the Seattle based dance company zoe|juniper. When she is not watching live theater or playing with her cats she also enjoys working in media production, and has played small roles on the production teams of shows like The Oscars, The SAG Awards, and The IHeart Radio Music Awards.
