Jeri Boomgaarden

Jeri joined Girls Inc. in March of 2022. She has a unique professional career trajectory starting with 18 years at the Clorox company focused on supply chain, logistics and global procurement, and then transitioning to the nonprofit sector where she’s spent the past ten years at the East Bay Community Foundation, an $850M nonprofit.

At the East Bay Community Foundation Jeri first created a Donor Services Department to establish internal process, policy, and support and then transitioned to Development as a Senior Philanthropic Advisor, and the Director of Planned Giving. Jeri provided advice to a diverse portfolio of fund holders so they could reach their philanthropic goals and educated them about the East Bay Community Foundation’s mission of a Just East Bay.

Jeri currently serves on the Board of Northern California Planned Giving Council and is an active member of regional and statewide philanthropic organizations. Jeri is an East Bay native and lives in Oakland with her great pup Daisy iLean.
