Christina Souto

Director of Individual Giving

Christina joined Girls Inc. of Alameda County in September 2019. She is an Alameda County local, born and raised in Hayward. She is first, second, and third generation Portuguese-American, with a strong connection to her culture.

Christina earned her Bachelors of Science in Environmental Systems from UC San Diego. While in San Diego, she interned with California Wolf Center and began her professional career with the nonprofit after graduating. Through this experience she fell in love with the power nonprofits have to bring new ideas, opportunities, and passion to individuals and their communities. Upon returning home to the Bay Area, she earned her Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from UC Davis and pivoted to nonprofit organizations empowering youth. She has nearly a decade of experience raising funds and awareness for nonprofit organizations.

Christina is passionate about empowering girls in her community to feel valued, safe, and prepared to achieve their dreams of college, career, and leadership. She lives with her fiancé in Castro Valley.
