NUESTRO IMPACTO
Community members from across the Bay Area contribute their time and talent to Girls Inc. of Alameda County, making the world better for girls and their allies— whether they’re helping a third-grader practice reading, showing middle school participants around their company, or speaking to a group of high schoolers about potential career paths.
We offer various types of volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups passionate about empowering girls and their allies to be strong, smart, and bold.
Individual Volunteers

Engage directly with youth in our afterschool programs in meaningful ways that work for your schedule. We offer both in-person and virtual volunteer opportunities, with options for long-term engagement and one-time experiences.
Most activities occur at local public schools or at the Simpson Center for Girls, Monday through Friday, between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
