Benefit Cosmetics Visits the Simpson Center for Girls!

The Simpson Center for Girls was abuzz with excitement as Girls Inc. of Alameda County welcomed our incredible friends from Benefit Cosmetics! The event wasn’t just about beauty—it was about empowerment, inspiration, and learning firsthand how innovative ideas come to life.

Benefit introduced one of their best-selling products, the POREfessional Speedy Smooth Pore Mask, and their team took our girls behind the scenes, walking them through the go-to-market strategy that transforms an idea into a global product. From product development to marketing, packaging design, and sales strategy, they introduced the key players in every step of the journey.

Our girls were captivated as they learned about careers they may never have considered—brand managers, product developers, marketing strategists, and so much more. The session opened doors to new dreams and gave a glimpse of the collaborative magic that happens at a major beauty brand.

And, of course, what would a visit from Benefit be without a little hands-on fun? The girls got to try the Speedy Smooth Pore Mask on themselves and each other, sharing tips, laughter, and a boost of self-confidence, taking home a sample at the end.
