Meet 2024 EmpowerFest Alumnae Speaker Jasmine Edwards

Meet 2024 EmpowerFest Alumnae Speaker, Jasmine Edwards, an Oakland Native who has been dedicated to community advocacy from a young age. Between the formative ages of 13 and 17, she was actively involved with Girls Inc. of Alameda County’s Eureka! Program, where she developed her commitment and passion to empowering young women, honed her leadership skills and learned about college, majors and the admissions process. She later earned her bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree with a focus on gender and equity studies. As Retail Manager for Ayesha Curry Brands, Jasmine combines her professional skills with her passion for philanthropy, striving to uplift her community and serve as a role model for young girls.
